Carlos Centeno: A Global Jayhawk’s Journey

University of Kansas alum Carlos Centeno will discuss his journey from UN field operations to his current work as an innovator of economic development. Centeno earned an M.A. in Global & International Studies from KU in 2007 and is presently with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he is the lead for Solve’s Economic Prosperity Community. This team engages leading voices from academia, the private and public sectors, as well as nonprofit organizations to explore solutions to challenges in accessing meaningful work, economic opportunities, and financial inclusion and equality. This is event is part of Global Food for Thought, a series administered by the Center for Global & International Studies. A light lunch will be served.
